New Generation Lively Letters™ Lowercase Wall Strips
- Printed onto 8 durable 8.5" x 36" strips, totaling 24 feet in length, this beautiful classroom or office wall border conveniently showcases all of the Lively Letters program lowercase letters in the sequence that is recommended for easy letter sound introduction. Students will enjoy recalling their "lively" friends and the sounds they make when working independently at their desks, in groups, or in classroom activities. Educators can also use these wall strips to remind themselves which letter to introduce next in the sequence.
- The Lively Letter picture letters are printed in Lively Letters order, and aligned with the way the 44 sounds of the language are classified. Cognate pairs of consonants (such as the voiceless and voiced lip puffing sounds /p/ and /b/), and other sound groups (such as nasal sounds /m/, /n/, and /ng/) are grouped next to each other in this sequence. This further aids students in understanding the organization of the English language sounds.
- Because the letter pictures of engaging characters depict the correct mouth movements for the English sounds, students can more easily learn to articulate them. Using powerful mnemonics (memory tricks), these images are directly embedded as characters into the letters.
