Presenter Bio
Hanna Stroud, an engaging, passionate presenter who has an unique way of interacting with her audience, has operated a private tutoring and consulting company called My Literacy Space since 2008 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  She provides one-on-one tutoring sessions with a focus on structured literacy. Along with being a National Trainer for Reading With TLC, Hanna provides workshops and webinars for public and private school boards, homeschool groups and online presentations to support collaborations with educational companies.  Using a multisensory approach to engage and motivate, invite exploration and explicitly teach skills, Hanna specializes in partnering children’s picture books with coordinating activities to encourage language and literacy goals with children of all ages.  Hanna has helped thousands of educators learn to include play-based learning activities in day-to-day interactions in order to help students experience an increase in confidence, curiosity and foundational knowledge of language. 

CREDITS: Whether you watch live or view the recording, this training offers 2 cont. ed. hours for all, and Certificate Maintenance Hours (CMHs) for Speech Language Pathologists. ASHA accepts CMHs towards the 30 hours needed for re-certification.
