Presenter Bio:
Natalie Wexler is a leading voice in the science of reading, literacy instruction, and education reform. She is the author of The Knowledge Gap and Beyond the Science of Reading, and co-author (with Judith C. Hochman) of The Writing Revolution, a widely used guide to improving writing and critical thinking across subjects. Her work bridges research and classroom practice, helping schools align literacy instruction with the science of learning and build the background knowledge essential for strong reading comprehension. Educators across the country rely on her expertise for curriculum planning and professional development.Her writing has appeared in major national publications, and she hosts the podcast Reading Comprehension Revisited and the newsletter Minding the Gap.
