Jodee Blanco is the author of the seminal New York Times bestseller Please Stop Laughing at Me… that established her as the first voice of the anti-bullying movement. She has spoken to thousands of students, teachers and parents and implemented her anti-bullying program INJJA (It’s NOT Just Joking Around!) that includes live presentations, professional development, and a communications curriculum, in hundreds of schools. Districts regularly turn to her as their go-to expert because she focuses on the human element of bullying, incorporating the matrix of students, educators and parents into each aspect of her program, and offers a realistic, practical plan of action that saves lives. In addition to her memoir, Jodee has authored twelve other books that include a second New York Times bestseller and an award-winning self-help book both of which shined a spotlight on adult bullying. She is also the author of a series of books for educators and a featured speaker at many educational symposiums.
